wHeretwoworldsTouch.com

[and .org] / wHe.. Development Plan

Briefly

Of course before any of this can happen, there must be in place a well-informed,  organized team, a Board, and the financial and technical wherewithal to take on the continued building of the site, then staffing the operational side of all this.  In the meantime, the following delineates what needs to be set up and integrated to bring wHeretwoworldsTouch.com into fully functional being, not to mention all that must transpire for it to also become a ".org."

There is already intact a multi-web modular structure within which all this should flow pretty easily for those whose passion is melding programs and data into a masterpiece.  From there, what needs to happen is re-editing and populating of pages and databases.  And somewhere in the midst of all that comes the marketing / PR to bring this to the awareness of the rest of the world.  My hope is through especially the growth of these several communities, wHeretwoworldsTouch.com will easily "go global."  The idea of Community actively engaged on that level within each of these subwebs, given the context of this material, would be a most exciting and wonderful process to help nurture and is the professed goal.

For ready reference, below are the names of the subwebs, since they are usually abbreviated down the rest of this page, and links to the development pages of each one.  The spelled-out text takes you to a given subweb's development page; the [abbreviation] outline options provide the menus for each of the various subwebs and information about each item in the menu.

Revenue Streams

PDD -- Revenue Streams

  • Books, other media from affiliate program sources.

  • Donations.

  • Some carefully selected products, services, such as through reseller and affiliate-type  programs.   These will strictly be things that are what we WANT to have available and not because companies want to advertise on our site per se.

  • In the future:  production of guides, ebooks.

  • The possibility of online programs, movies, conferences, classes/workshops for educational purposes.

LLR -- Revenue Streams

  • Books, other media from affiliate program/reseller sources will be a major source with more than two thousand titles devoted to everything to do with spiritually transformative experiences; it will be an amazing collection.

  • In the future:  our own production downloads [and possibly dvd/cd versions] of interviews, programs, conferences, movies.

  • A membership component for people to find each other who share common interests.  This will be generally free for all, but with added features, for which there will be small fees.

  • Probably the planned gallery will also be set up as a source of revenue.  It depends on what kind of emphasis or purpose this will take on within the context of the LLR community.

LAL -- Revenue Streams

  • Affiliate program/reseller sources will be a 'presence' comprising most of the hundreds / thousands of options to be found here.

  • Services, products offered for sale from the membership subwebs [ESC, DTCII].

  • Its own triple-bottom-line investment network.  There's much more here than this may at first suggest.  For example, working directly with our EHE Support Co-operative membership web in some highly creative ways that will involve both that and this web.  If there was ever a time to get involved with going for the green triple bottom line and really, really make a difference in the world, this is it!

ESC -- Revenue Streams

  • Membership fee, out of which a percentage will go to wHe..

  • Whatever products, services . .  in many ways wHeretwoworldsTouch.com will share a mutually beneficial relationship with the ESC, which will undoubtedly reflect monetarily as well.

DTCII -- Revenue Streams

  • Membership subweb; this fee will be a major source of income from this subweb.

  • Books, other media from affiliate program/reseller sources will be a major source with two-to-three thousand titles devoted to everything to do with spiritually transformative experiences.

  • In the future:  our own production downloads [and possibly dvd/cd versions] of interviews, programs, conferences

  • Whatever may come out of our collaborations together -- including write-ups, presentations of research projects, conferences, programs, membership blogs that originate from ideas here, even artistic blends and productions.  Kind of like with the ESC, there is just no telling what will come out of this.  Not un-often, remuneration will be one outcome of some if not many of these community interactions, from which wHe.. will benefit also.

The revenue plans are also presented in a more succinct table form on this page.

  • Many Cultures, One Heart.

  • Books, etc. [a sub-list from the main database on another subweb].

  • Music.

LLR -- Databases

  • Books, etc. [The main book-plus database for all of wHeretwoworldsTouch.com -- thousands of items, including the options to create and read reviews and order directly from amazon.com and possible other sources].

  • Quotes.

  • Music.

LAL -- Databases

  • Activist and other interests that support and are supported by EHEerly lifestyle trends, values.

  • Growing collection of EHE stories and autobiographies.

  • Products & services that support and are supported by EHEerly ideologies and interests.

  • Reviews of products, services; also of service / activist organizations.

  • Music.

  • Special challenge:  how do we allow for a lot of input from the client side, such as links, EHE autobiographies and stories, also reviews with clean efficiency, yet complete bottom-line control for what gets seen on the site? Factoring in client reviews, feedback should be utilized as a plus.  This could so easily get out of control without the right setup at the beginning.

  • Books, etc. [The main book-plus database for all of wHeretwoworldsTouch.com -- thousands of items, including the options to create and read reviews and order directly from amazon.com and possible other sources].

  • Music.

Memberships, Groups

Re:  Special databases to keep current about members, processing applications and money and other data, information this will require

PDD -- Memberships, Groups

  • Discussion / educational groups.

  • [Bereavement groups:  since bereavement is an area of great vulnerability, I have decided not to facilitate this on this site.  I think safety can be a huge factor in regards to how their needs may be helped through the internet, especially with children.  But we can do something like Meetups so people can find the professional and community support where they live.]

LLR -- Memberships, Groups

  • Discussion / educational groups.

  • These two options require signing up as members:  Homepages [for others to see] and Personal Pages -- sort of a my-yahoo-type setup.  These subwebs will have so much on them and so many interactive options as well, not to mention a gazillion links.  The personal pages allow people to collect their own favorite links and other data, materials they want to keep or see regularly.

  • EHE Study Groups [see LAL just below].

LAL -- Memberships, Groups

  • The LAL Co-op

  • EHE Study Groups [through LLR and LAL]: We might best facilitate this important topic through yahoo groups and meetups or something similar.  Ideally, we will do this in such a way that connects people regularly and directly to wHe.. as integral to all that goes on within these groups, such as for easy access to study materials and to others who share this interest.   This will be encouraged on a local basis as well as online.  Also, we will eventually sponsor special events and conferences once this builds up enough steam.

  • One or more forms of social investment networks and/or co-op

ESC -- Memberships, Groups

  • All that goes with this = info about; generating a membership; choosing what to actively engage in together; all that goes into running this as a membership organization; planning projects, priorities, etc. … aaa-zzz.

DTCII -- Memberships, Groups

  • Personal pages, homepages; creating the whole membership setup.

TWO levels of membership:

1.

One for joining organizations on a meta level.

2.

One for individuals who also want to participate and/or learn.  They will then have access to these various meta-level groups and also to collective and collaborative interests, conferences, research, etc. inclusive of all groups [and individuals].

  • [Wonder if this is where something like a RSS feed would be appropriate?]

Administrative and Other Staff

PDD -- Administrative and Other Staff

  • Answering email.

  • Fostering support groups.

  • [Question:  do we need to make special monitoring available for any interactives for children and teenagers?  In fact do we want to offer interactive environments for this purpose??]

  • Any back-end responsibilities that are not automated to facilitate what site has to offer -- mostly answering d&d and technical questions troubleshooting web-related issues.

LLR -- Administrative and Other Staff

  • Answering email.

  • Fostering support groups.

  • Any back-end responsibilities that are not automated to facilitate what site has to offer -- mostly answering technical questions troubleshooting web-related issues.

  • Keeping all the data controlled, up-to-date, daily reviewed for appropriateness of content.

ESC -- Administrative and Other Staff

  • Answering email.

  • Fostering support groups.

  • Any back-end responsibilities that are not automated to facilitate what site has to offer -- mostly answering d&d and technical questions troubleshooting web-related issues.

DTCII -- Administrative and Other Staff

  • Fostering research relationships and groups.

  • Any back-end responsibilities that are not automated to facilitate what site has to offer -- mostly answering d&d and technical questions troubleshooting web-related issues.

Not Sure How to Catalog These

.. Usually because of complexity of what is needed or special notes needed

PDD -- Not Sure How to Catalog These

  • Online 'workshops':  could be either powerpoint or video-type presentation with static page containing references, contacts, links, pages to download and print.  All the practical issues -- how to prepare for one’s eventual death/dying; new options [green burial and home funerals].  Each of these and in fact quite a few other D&D topics can be presented as a whole series of workshops, ebooks, even conferences, programs.

  • Memorials Online:  largely static except for database of members and what they have put on their memorial page.

  • Support groups, including for bereavement [adults, also specifically for children, same for teenagers]:  meetups or something like this would be an optimum route to connect people with others in their local areas.

  • Suicide prevention:  setting up extensive access with list links professionals  trained to provide that kind of service.  We will also have static pages of educational and  inspirational materials.

LLR -- Not Sure How to Catalog These

  • Online 'workshops':  could be either powerpoint or video-type presentation with static page containing references, contacts, links, pages to download and print.   Quite a few LLR  topics can be presented as a whole series of workshops, ebooks, even conferences, programs.  But in this generally nonmember subweb, these topics will be dictated considerably by the interests of the people who visit and what they tell us they want to see.  The possible topics would be endless, but for certain areas they will be directed to the other subwebs.

LAL -- Not Sure How to Catalog These

  • Online 'workshops':  could be either powerpoint or video-type presentation with static page containing references, contacts, links, pages to download and print.  Quite a few LAL  topics can be presented as a whole series of workshops, ebooks, even conferences, programs.  But in this generally nonmember subweb, these topics will be dictated considerably by the interests of the people who visit and what they tell us they want to see.  The possible topics would be endless, but for certain areas they will be directed to the other subwebs.

  • A BIG THING:  A yearly awards program bringing attention to outstanding services, products, creativity, great solutions to tough challenges in the world/community.

ESC -- Not Sure How to Catalog These

  • ESC support group [psychospiritual, physical/emotional]; EHEers and money – doing this together through this site; creative ideas and projects they will choose to do together.

  • EHE Study Groups -- an exclusive ESC rendition that would include the unique needs of this subweb membership: We might best facilitate this important topic through yahoo groups and meetups or something similar.  Ideally, we will do this in such a way that connects people regularly and directly to wHe.. as integral to all that goes on within these groups, such as for easy access to study materials and to others who share this interest. Would be ideal if this could also be provided on a local, face-to-face basis.

  • ESC Library:  Collecting and making available databases of material; archiving.

DTCII -- Not Sure How to Catalog These

  • Eventually our own recognized journal and other means for bringing this remarkable work to the larger world.

  • Research activities, programs, presentations, conferences; lots of cross-group collaborations.

  • Specifically educational programs, presentations of their research projects and outcomes and products, services that come out of their research.

  • Grand Exp. Forum:  all that administratively and technologically supports this work:  Collective of membership organizations and subject interests.. huge; various means for them to connect, convene, collaborate on projects, research ...; hatching projects; cross-disciplinary, cross-cultural, cross-languaging.  Must find way for this not to be specifically driven by these organizations, so individuals and 'cross-pollination'  can be much more  fluid and dynamic and similarly influential.  Hotbed of activity and progress that genuinely contributes to our intentions and to to the world.

PR, Marketing, and Search Engine Optimization  ...  [Blog-Blog-Blog ...]

Each Subweb will have at least one blog attached to it, probably a number of blogs.  For example, the PDD could have blogs associated with one or more grief support groups; one would be focused on the earthbound issues of death education, such as laws, both required and optional legal forms, also home funeral and ecologically sound green burial options; one could be on different cultural and religious practices and etiquette associated with death.

Given this subject, I'm at the beginning point of a stratospheric learning curve, and I confess I hope others will appear on the scene who eat this stuff happily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Past this point, all I can say is ..
