The Larger Life Reality Portal is a highly interactive learning community where you may simply enjoy browsing, check out our various programs and features, or talk with others who share this interest.  I dare say, you could be here for weeks without running out of new things to see.   Here, you are immersed in a super-rich informational environment driven almost exclusively by people who have had various types of death-transcendent "Exceptional Human Experiences" [d-t EHEs], anomalous events that totally transform people's lives and their awareness of who/what we are and what life is all about.  

Along with its attendant Living the Awakened Life and the Death-Transcendent Cooperative Inquiry Initiative Portals, the Larger-Life Reality community has been developed to chronicle the Awakening of a revolutionary new worldview, i.e., that the death of one's conscious sense of being, of self, of "I" is ... but a myth.  It's one thing to be told this, to be asked to believe this blindly; it is something else again to experience this with one's conscious "I" intact.  But there is another whole dimension to this quiet revolution, which has to do with growing numbers [many millions] of people becoming conscious of this phenomenon both directly and indirectly and the impact this is having on our world culture  ... read more ...

The Larger Life Reality Library -- is comprised of a huge, ever-growing database of related books and other media, including many reviews, and also of the mushrooming archives for all the various features here [e.g., Spotlights, columns, editorials, programs, surveys, and more].

"Many women feel invisible or aberrant when they are subsumed under a masculine term that is supposed to be universal; yet they are often made to feel trivial and nit-picking if they object. But look at it this way: Would a man feel included in "womankind"? Would he refer to himself as "chairwoman," "Congresswoman," or "Mr. Mary Smith" ... ?" Gloria Steinem says.  And amen, says I; so here's a little experiment, that for about 10 minutes I once thought was original.  Actually someone from [I think] Penn State came up with this idea first; I just wanted to try the coat on, walk around in it, swing my arms, feel the texture, and see how it fits.   Smells interesting!  Play with it inside as you explore the site and experiment with it yourselves.  So whaddaya think?!  Best ideas, comments will appear in a special gender-feedback item on the main [LLR] page.

These change periodically, each to its own rhythm.  They are also eventually archived if you want to find them again--either by checking the library or by doing a search.

Programs -- In the unfolding order of things on this new site, let's just say live and pre-recorded audio / video / radio programs are definitely "on the list," but it may be a bit down the road before this materializes.  Eventually we will offer our own programs focused on interviews with EHErs and those who study these experiences and the experiencers.  We will also feature from time to time relevant off-site programs as well.  In the meantime, what do you want to experience along these lines?  Ideas are always welcome!  Also, if you want to help toward this development (or others on wHeretwoworldsTouch) take a look at our WISH LIST.

Feature Column -- a regular article concerning death-transcendent EHEs and their impact on us as individuals and as a world culture.

Guest Column -- usually features either veteran EHErs, such as those who regularly cultivate some form of EHE [out-of-body experience, a psychomanteum experience, etc.] or someone who studies these experiences and the experiencers.

Editorial Column -- Share with us your own insights, queries, and quandaries.  Please understand, this is not a site where it's appropriate to regurgitate all the old patter about whether there IS a Larger Life Reality or not.  How do the ideas here converge or not within your daily life?  How have your own such experiences [EHEs] changed your life?  Tried something new as a result of this type of perspective?  Got any thoughts about one of the survey questions or maybe one of your own you'd like to see here?

Dear Rachael  -- Here's one avenue where you may like to share your own EHE/s.  Emphasis here is on what kind of impact did your EHE/s have on you, how it changed your life, your way of thinking and being in the world.  Maybe such an experience has so pulled that warm-fuzzy, familiar ol' moth-eaten rug out from under you, you're still trying to get all ten toes back on terra firma and you need some support.  Or maybe the aftereffect has been very positive.   How do you feel about your experience?   Did it change your life in any way?   What did you learn from it?   Also, here is a good place to open up, because whatever is happening with you, is surely happening to others who might see this and benefit from your experience.   One big boost for readers and for those willing to share their experiences here is both get reinforcement they are definitely not alone.  For all the glorious glory, the aftermath of EHEs is sometimes intense and confusing while you go through an adjustment phase.  What are you learning and what do you want to learn?  Write to Rachael.

Chronicles of the Awakened Life -- Is there really a revolution afoot??  Are there perceivable changes in the broader scope of things as a result of these types of experiences?  How about in individual lives?  How about within small groups such as a business or a family?  Whether it's one death-transcendent EHE or the trend of growing awareness about them in general, they are changing people and society.  For example, many, many terrific ideas, achievements, political and cultural movements, breakthroughs, philanthropic projects and so forth were the product of a d-t EHE.  Most often, you would never know it, because the person who made this idea, achievement, etc. possible wouldn't dare tell almost anyone [if anyone] of such an experience.  But it spurred them to great successes as servants of the Highest within them.  Always their striving is for the good of others, other creatures, the planet.  The difference these days, which empowers this phenomenon, which in turn empowers us, is that people are becoming more aware that such events are not uncommon at all and that their plentitude and the universality of their aftereffects forms a solid basis for the validity of the existence of a "larger life reality."  Most interesting is the fact that these experiences and the resulting transformative insights and consciousness come to us as just ordinary people; they come to any and everyone -- the cab driver and bank president, the simple minded and the genius, the 3-year-old child, the 103-year-old elder; they come to people of every possible race, country, political persuasion, religious and nonreligious orientation, gender and gender orientation, rich and poor, educated and not.  They are neither the product nor property of any coveted field of expertise; like breathing and consciousness, they truly belong to all of us.  Because we are coming forward in greater numbers and with a greater feeling of safety within which to reveal  our stories, we ARE a movement, a movement that is actually having a perceivable positive impact on each other and on society as a whole.  What will our world be like when most-to-all of us accept d-t EHEs as normal and as an important part, if not one of the most critically vital aspects of our world culture and of our evolution as a species?  How will we have let these experiences, and our collective knowledge derived from them and from our having them transform us into the highest expressions of being and living of which we are capable, and through us, transform our shared world into something wondrous beyond our present imagining?  What insights and observations have you gained along these lines? EHE Quotes -- Most of these come from various books in the above collection.  Got a favorite quote of this nature?  We're always on the look-out for more!

EHE Stories -- Most of these also come from books and other media, but they are also sourced by people writing us of their d-t EHEs.  Send in your own stories or suggestions of literature that include these [strong bias here toward nonfiction except or unless there is also the author had such an experience which s/he in turn wove into hir literature].

EHE-Focused  Autobiographies -- or at least snippets from such sources, most of which you should be able to have access to in some published medium.  These are most valuable, for through them like nothing else, we can see how such experiences alter our lives and our sensed relationship to and involvement in our world, and of course within the context of the Larger Life Reality.  As you will notice elsewhere on the site, "EHE autobiographies" are a specially empowering discipline I can't recommend highly enough.  They even engender more such experiences!  Rhea A. White created the term and an elegant and exciting framework within which to understand them and to foster them.   Send us yours!

EHE-Inspired Art -- either attempts to share exactly what was experienced during an EHE or art generated as a result of having had one or more such experiences.   If you are willing, send us a virtual rendition of your EHE-inspired creation.  For those for whom it is important, be sure to read carefully the copyright protection notice.  As with all things offered to be posted on wHeretwoworldsTouch, we do practice some editorial license as to what we feel is appropriate for our website.

EHErs Making a Positive Difference in Our World -- stories of people who are indeed about the business of providing a meaningful and helpful service to others and to this Earth as a result of their having been deeply influenced by a d-t EHE.  If you are looking either for a model for how this develops in someone's life or a new inspiration for where to lend your own support such as to aid someone's fine work, here's a great feature to study.  To send us your stories, or suggestions of people whose lives have been profoundly motivated in this way, click here.
