Wonder
if we 'should' set this up so that whoever we might invest in must
become, would presumably be, a producer / seller of products and
services represented through the LAL Co-op.
I said this elsewhere,
but, it might be advantageous to set this or a subset of this up
so that one of the kudos of becoming included as a provider of products
/ services in the LAL Co-op would be investment dollars coming their
way, if they want this [optional].
This could become interesting! If the LAL Co-op becomes a
substantial global presence, representing a kind of "Good
Housekeeping Seal" of approval that is widely sought, with its
triple bottom line, full disclosure of products / services, consumer
reviews, and some kind of certification process with teeth in play to
make this REAL, it would also provide a positive inducement for
companies to clean up their act, so-to-speak, so they can
participate.
We also need some kind of review board that keeps tabs on the
qualitative end of the interests we invest in. How would we do
this?
And might there be exceptions? For example, I don't know this, but
the produce grown by E. Sahtouris might be only for fairly local buyers,
which would mean in the general neighborhood of Peru. If the
products could not be sold to people outside a very local area, would it
be even useful to them to be LAL Co-op members?

a wild-hare thought:
would there be any value in setting up as an option the use of our own
