The Death-Transcendent Cooperative Inquiry Initiative

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What IS the Death-Transcendent Cooperative Inquiry Initiative [DT CII]?

The DT CII is a grassroots organization not bound by any particular academic or religious or other particular affiliations.  The only thing that binds its members is a genuine interest in the subject. of experiential transcendence that leaves the experiencer with the unequivocal awareness that we are not our physical bodies -- we are something other and more; and, the eventual demise of the physical body simply releases the consciousness that is self to another dimension of what is referred to on this site as the "Larger Life Reality.  Another bonding interest in common is, how can we best facilitate for ourselves and for others safely having the quality and kinds of experience that gift us with this awareness?  What options do we have or can we cultivate?  How may we collectively hone our options and skills toward the purpose of generating such experiences?

Also, I feel there is a responsibility inherent in this type of group effort to educate ourselves and the world-at-large about the importance of these transformative experiences and what potential they hold for us individually and as a species.

Is there a membership fee?

The first three months are free, after which there is a yearly fee that can be paid quarterly, bi-annually, or annually.  Assuming you meet the qualifications for joining the EHErs' Support Cooperative, you have the option to join two organizations here -- the ESC and also the DT CII.  The three-month trial is available for each, one time only per member.

Here is the cost structure, beyond the initial free trials:

Quarterly

Bi-annually

Annually

   ESC or DT-CII [each]

$35

$60

$110

   Both ESC and DT-CII

$60

$110

$200

If you join the second organization somewhere in the middle of your paid membership for the first one, a compensatory adjustment will be made when your three-month free trial ends for the second network, and you will be billed accordingly for the second one, for the remainder of the period for which you have already paid for the original membership.  This adjustment takes into consideration your current single-fee plan also so that you will in essence only be paying the double membership fee from the beginning of the dual membership for both organizations.

To clarify, at the time of your first payment-due for the second membership, assuming your payment is not concurrently due for your original single membership, you will pay the "both-and" amount due for the second one  and only up to the time your next payment-due for the first organization you joined.  The payment adjustment will also take into consideration your current paid single membership, so that from the very beginning of your paid dual membership, your fees will reflect the both-and cost structure.

When your payment comes due for your original membership, you will then continue payment according to the both-and fee structure, but for both together, until or unless you decide to drop out of one or both.  If you choose at some later time to drop out of one and maintain your membership in the other, it works like it would with journals or magazines.  You just won't renew your membership the next time your payment is due, and if you continue to maintain one membership, the fee schedule will then reflect the single-network payment plan.
