LANGUAGE PREFERENCES
In order for the understanding of this “New Story,” this growing
awakening to a more expansive and unifying consciousness, to become truly common
world knowledge, language differences as a possible challenge must be minimized.
What tools and methods can best smooth the way for this to happen
efficiently, even elegantly? An
enthusiastic and committed network of translators who share this mutual regard
in the first place will be highly instrumental in this process.
Having excellent tools in place to facilitate this effort will be
essential.
We are as a species moving more fully into the realm of the subtle, the
hard-to-convey things notorious for being beyond the easy reach of words.
There are a few even so-called sacred languages in the world, a good
number of still living patois of the first peoples of every land, and a few
uniquely nuanced words in every language that could be most helpful toward this
purpose.
Here’s an exciting thought: I’m
imagining a playful, maybe fruitful global alliance that could acquire a
disciplined approach toward the collection, study and use of such lingua
franca / words among those who
have a familiarity with and love for language, especially who have a knowledge
of the more specialized ones in this regard.
We could and certainly will grow our own languaging out of this shared
interest. What fascinating fun to
naturally create our own international idiom, not unlike the brilliance and
delight of the Yiddish dialect the European Jews birthed from the many
vernaculars they shared over the course of centuries of contending with the
annoyance of otherwise not having an easily common language with which to
maintain their sense of unity.
Combining this with John Heron’s preference for giving words to
something directly out of one’s lived experience will be an important piece of
this process. Heron literally makes
a science [”Sacred Science”] out of this type of effort, which he describes
as “person-centred inquiry into the spiritual and the subtle,” and utilizes
many “knacks" for cultivating, exploring, learning, sharing,
communicating experiences of this nature.
We who are becoming conscious of this Awakening process must utilize the best tools and processes available, and rely on our collaborative creative genius in order to circumvent any challenges that would otherwise impede the expansive unfolding of this reciprocal recognition of our essential unity. It is in this way we may together consciously recognize and mutually validate this Event fully and come to appreciate the singular and unstoppable colossus we are as a unifying force for profound good.
