This feature allows you to search all the nonmembership communities of wHeretwoworldsTouch.com.
Right about where it is in red below, which I put there, and tho can't be seen in FP proper [in same lt. turquoise as above], it IS seen on both Navigator and I.E., a very unwanted notation that says:

The Physical Death and Dying Resource Portal

SITE MAP

The Physical Death and Dying Resource Portal offers a comprehensive array of resources, interactive support, and healing inspiration regarding what is surely one of the more difficult or challenging moments of our lives.  Here, you will discover an abundance of practical information and healing and insight; web links, books and other on- and off-site products and services; contacts for further assistance;  support / discussion e-groups within a yahoo-type environment; planned online programs and conference events; message boards.
This web covers the topics of --
Special Death & Dying Needs:   E.g., hospices, alternative [often more reasonably priced] funerary options, online memorials, legal information.

Fear of Physical Death & Dying:   Acknowledgement and support from the many of us who share this malady; insight and coping strategies; ways to let go of and live beyond this fear.  Read or post your thoughts, feelings on our bulletin board dedicated to this purpose.

Suicide FAQ, Resources & Support:   Crisis support, information, links.

Grieving Support & Resources:   Talk with others (or just 'listen in') who are also coping with similar pain and loss.  Join an online support group.  Read others' stories or post your own.  Much more.

FOR KIDS ONLY:   For ages [roughly] reading age to 12.  If 'death' is a big issue for you right now, it might help to know it is for many kids.  We have pictures by other children and a few fun games and a place where you can read other kids' thoughts about death and dying. You can also either post a picture or write us your own thoughts and feelings.  Is someone close to you sick or dying? Did someone you love die?  If you've been very ill, what do you feel about that?  Are you worried, sad, angry, frightened?  Maybe you've had an experience where you saw or heard beautiful things not of this world, and they made you very happy. Please share your story with us.

FOR YOUNG PEOPLE ONLY:   For ages 13-20 or so. If death is a big concern now, come explore what's here with others who share your feelings.  You can read the stories of others, or you may post your own story here; talk with those who share your death/dying-related difficulties; join a support e-group; check out our loads of resources [books, tapes, videos, links]; take a break and just play with some  of our basic fun stuff.   Tell us what you are going through; sometimes it really makes you feel better and not so alone.

Green Burial and Home Funerals:  Almost overnight -- in the last ten years for the Home Funeral movement and maybe five years for the green burial movement -- an incredible grassroots upwelling has begun to dot the communal landscape across the USA.  People are reclaiming the right to take the remains of their deceased loved ones home to prepare and watch over during the interim between death and burial/cremation, and in the process, they are learning what a movingly healing, easy process this can be.  They are also re-examining how we give the bodies of our deceased back to the Earth and making or creating better choices that are more ecological, practical, and economical as well.

Healing Inspiration:   On-site or links to uplifting, therapeutic,  thought-provoking poetry and literature, a tremendous collection of the world's Scriptures, listings of books, videos, music, a beautiful gallery, and more.

Many Cultures, One Heart:   A fascinating exploration of the world's cultures, what their death-and-dying practices are, how they cope with the difficulties of physical death and dying.  This area of the site also chronicles the fact that we are one in our very human condition; we are truly One Heart.  We share a singular destiny -- not in our bodies' deaths, but in our inevitable transcendence of our temporary physical condition.

Preparing for Your Body's Death:  Everything from the practical and legal to the psycho-spiritual.

Controversial Issues:  Many come here with concerns that reflect our complex values, policies, debates about basic death/dying needs [e.g., euthanasia, medically condoned / induced suicide, improved support for the dying and for the elderly].  We hope people from all over the world will be willing to share as one community here their views, solutions, questions and answers to these issues.   All in the spirit of thoughtfulness.  Here, we can see the many views of others, some we will resonate with, some we will not.  This is not a platform for arguing, but it is a place where we can recognize that there are certain issues many people struggle with.  All of us, all of humankind is challenged by the need to do what we feel is right.  I think the best use of this part of the site is to let it provide educational insight.  Diversity and openness are the best requisites for discovering creative aha's and a deepening of our personal and collective understanding.   The real and lasting answers to such issues inevitably come from a deep intuitive place that is sourced in each and all of us.

Dedication:  To all those, especially a growing army of pioneers in a number of related fields, who have devoted their lives to do everything in their power to comfort and to bless with loving kindness and strength those who are passing beyond this world, as well as those loved ones remaining in this one, and even past The Veil, to continue their support to those on the Other Side.
