My
fundamental question to
each
of you is,
How can we help
each other?

In Presence, you
invoke Thomas Berry's quote about our being in trouble because
of the current lack of guiding stories, certainly for our Western or perhaps even global culture at this point. On the one hand,
Dr. Flowers remarked, the materialistic version of Western science, as well as traditional religious, heroic, and monetary
panaceas have all proven to be
anything but. And on the other, in the words of Dr.
Senge, "These
are the myths that defined life in the cave, different
threads of the story of separation.
But outside the cave we don’t yet have a new story
that’s clear enough, simple enough, and widely understood
enough to serve a new community of thought.
I think we are trapped between stories."
I fully believe we are in the process of being disabused of
our entrapment, and it seems to me you perceive this as well
through your highly successful works. Although you and
I and others are seeing this in our personal spheres of
operation, what remains to be discovered is the wholesale
sense of this as a mutually recognized Movement of this
extraordinary Awakening of Humanity, this
from-the-inside-out shift in consciousness spreading across
the Earth.
Many concepts, words, even new languages are springing
up as we struggle to overcome the old done-to-death
separatist hell of Plato's Cave analogy. You
yourselves have developed a beautiful representation in the
conceptual model of Presencing and the 'U'. I am more
of a collector of languages, words, concepts, because I
believe this step of inclusive recognition is also essential
to this continued Wakening process we are living together.
In
any case, that conversation in Presence led me abruptly to
wonder,
HOW
CAN WE HELP EACH OTHER?
COULD A
COLLABORATIVE
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOUR WORK AND THIS
DO MORE THAN WE MIGHT ACHIEVE SEPARATELY?
Naturally, you have your work and I have mine. But
somewhere between us in the general vicinity of that 'us-vs.-them'
stuck place of any stripe in the collective human psyche, I
feel there is an answer that is crucially important to our
evolutionary advancement and global survival. We just
have to get beyond this 2-gather/ together.
While out walking recently, I passed a mother standing in
the middle of the street, back turned to a couple of very
animated, knee-high kids running helter-skelter up into a
yard. She was counting aloud, ... 8 - 9 - 10, and with
a slight pause, slowly turned, saying "Ready or not,
here I come!.." And immersed in
the fun, the children laughed aloud with irrepressible JOY, still scrambling
for that perfect hiding place! The Answer is
like those little ones, giggling with anticipatory delight, not of
hiding, but of being found! The 'being found' is of
course the collective mutual recognition, within the context of this
evolutionary turn, this growing Movement, of our fully
knowing oneness as
the Human family.
I feel some sort of Presence-sourced working together could
prove to be most valuable in ways that would supersede that
of our otherwise individual areas of concentration. If
wholes are more than the sum of their parts, then parts
coming together effectively will surely discover the MORE of
their unitive being. In this spirit, I
would like to invite you to consider a genuine Dialogue [I
can't wait to experience that in the real!] and exploration
of this work, much in the depth that I have had the
opportunity and privilege to explore yours the last few
months. I am asking if you will be willing to
consider how we might benefit each other's work. It is
the mutual recognition and regard for the whole of what we
[and now no small number of others!] are vocationally
devoted to, which is this Awakening spirit.
In
a way I represent your almost polar opposite, relevant to
our journeys and positions on this Earth. Yet we have
both come to quite similar understandings
that hold forth much hope and deepening awareness for our world that can contribute significantly toward facilitating
this Shift in consciousness. It is the
same-same in the face of our almost archetypal differences
of life hirstory
and circumstances that would make such a collaboration truly
worthwhile.
I live in what you would easily perceive as
the
other 85% of the world that largely goes unacknowledged
[directly] within the everyday experiences familiar to you. I
also lack the social networks and a few other
critical factors, such as funding and technological
expertise. I
have worked quite alone for the most part, although my inner
experiences give me much hope and a sense of profound
support. They
also give me the necessary courage to contact you toward the
purpose of a possible partnership.
All that said, here are some ideas about how I feel we can
benefit each other:

What can I
and this project
offer that would help your work?

A
unique vehicle for further world service which
allows you access to a remarkable and ever-expanding, receptive global
audience for your many-Giftedness that seeks to honor what has sometimes been called the Good, the True, the Beautiful.
Imagine this Movement as a global culture directly,
widely influenced by the virtues of Presencing / the
'U', Synchronicity, The Fifth Discipline, Dialogue,
learning communities, Social Presencing Theater, what I
believe is becoming the "New Story,"
originating from this growing-to-be pervasive
consciousness shift.
-
A world-wide audience [EHEers and also EHE Empaths] that would be
supportive toward furthering your research, such as the interviews you have been doing for discovering attributes of outstanding leadership.
Surveys, questionnaires, and other methods can be
implemented within the web structure and also the EHE
Study Groups for this purpose. What could you learn about people and about leadership
within this population, frequently whose Experiences
would attract them to AtL / wHe and are the very origin of
selfless service and natural leadership, even among
people who have never imagined being leaders as such.

This
particular clientele of EHEers and EHE Empaths will share
the in-common ground of Experience
with Joseph Jaworski in particular an also avid interest in his fundamental questions that grew out of
his own EHEs. This would be the case with all of our
Big Questions.

A
substantial avenue of revenue. I have said very
little out front about
this aspect,
because frankly, I do not want this to be the primary
determining factor for those who would choose to play
major roles as partners and funding agents, but if it
gets the brilliant support to be all it can be, such as
you are able to offer, this
work should do quite well financially.

A
fresh global avenue for helping to change the world by
making many more people aware and appreciative of your
works and ideas! I only just [late Nov.] browsed
through gbn.org, and was blown
away!
People / books / ideas like Joel
Garreau's
Radical Evolution and The Next Cultural
Revolution; Alain
de Vulpain's
"entirely new model of society based on organic
networks, bottom-up power, and shared norms [paving] the
way for peaceful resolution of global conflicts and
social dilemmas"; Pierre
Omidyar
[was already on my list of people to approach with this
project] -- his Spreading the Gospel of the Bottom-Up
[book??] and the "power of bottom-up
innovation"; Jaron
Lanier's
"long-term future that puts people at the center of
the story"; Bob
Fuller's
Somebodies and Nobodies; Danny
Hillis'
"deconstruction .. reconstruction .. of global
culture [he said the words 'global culture' -- yes!] and
values"; and I can't wait to see what Clay
Shirky
is into!; Adam
Kahane,
et al., about the necessity for entrepreneurs and
activists becoming a relational norm. Also, there
was a woman who has a special interest in children --
all of this has to be able to set this understanding off
like a global wildfire for them!! I have not yet
focused on that need, but that's another huge piece of
what will happen on wHeretwoworldsTouch -- a whole slice
across all the webs devoted to the global youth culture.

What can you
offer that would help this web project?
-
Guidance in a number of areas, starting with business and technical [IT] expertise.
-
A social network that is connected all over the world in
a variety of helpful ways, and I believe, who would find this work [AtL / wHe] to be quite complimentary to your own
and who may further support this as a global project.
-
Partnership
and major funding / access to major funding interests.
-
Credibility,
much as I wish I didn't have to admit it within this
superficial context.
Meaning: I have felt all along that it was
important to bring this into being simply as another
person, another "anybody," because this subtly
allows others to more easily see much of what is offered
here as just as accessible and achievable to them. I believe this
is in part what makes AtL / wHe potentially such a
powerful vehicle for change if this idea pervades all
its work as a service of and for and by 'just us folks',
all us very human beings -- and that's 100% of us --
choosing to support this revolutionary Adventure in
general, and this particular "experiment"
because we together in very positive, intentional ways
can do so much more -- through the unity we share
through our hearts and across all possible divisiveness
-- than we can ever possibly accomplish otherwise.
AtL / wHe can serve as a magnet pointing to a future in
which we become ONE conscious power of agreeable
intention based simply on Love.

What great good could come about as a result of our collaboration
and partnership that would not otherwise be possible?
-
Most
of all, because of a similar quality of what I will
metaphorize as Heart and Spirit-led intentionality and
the earnest desire to serve the Greater Whole in certain
ways, and also because of our vitalizing differences, I
believe together we may within this unique field of
creative opportunity bring into being something
unprecedented as a highly influential service that
neither you nor I in our separate spheres of influence could hope to
achieve without some major presencing representation of 'the other'.
-
I
can't help but feel a partnership of this sort would contribute
toward a subtle but steady erosion
of the daunting 15%
/ 85% schism,
a factor more of the Movement itself than the websites,
but still that would be part of the attractive ambience
here. Within a self-generating culture that
naturally would operate out of a point of view which no
longer finds the old hierarchical model tenable, all
that goes with that conditioning and that continues to
feed off the false values that sees, for instance, some
people as better or less than others, and which
naturally leads to conflict and ill will, would begin to
fade.
-
No to
glamour.
Yes to finding the answers within self, and we could
say, the Self we all are.
-
We
would together manifest a unique opportunity to help
birth a mutually, even unitively aware worldwide
relational web, bringing together multitudes of people on the
electric-green edge of the greatest Human-potential /
consciousness movement ever in our hirstory, not only
for the accelerated spiritual / developmental
transformation of our species, but also for the
protective, lasting sustainability of our precious Earth.

How can we begin to imagine such a great work together, with Presence / Theory U
/ Dialogue / Synchronicity / the New Story / the Power of Myth – and
- AtL / wHe / ‘all things EHE’
and beyond?
Together,
I truly believe we could be a most serviceable instrument in this Consciousness Shift as a
Global Movement. These several interdependent web-sourced and
adjunct off-line communities could in their expansive influence in
the world quite conceivably play a significant part in
facilitating the emergence of this “Field Knowing Itself,” into the
normative awareness of the world’s humanity.
What if people could be more open to and awarely
collaborative in our collective efforts to bring people all over the
world together into active, mutual regard as a result of this
understanding that we as a global phenomenon are Awakening into a
whole new consensus reality? I
can see this offering a whole other type of leadership that
naturally inspires the willing cooperation from within the
transformed heart in which we realize our unhidden oneness.
A model example of this [see Gulf-Stream-like
confluence near top of page]
is described by Paul Ray and Sherry Ruth
Anderson [The Cultural Creatives: How 50 Million People Are Changing the
World] between
the Core Cultural Creatives and the Green Cultural Creatives. The
more dynamic, spiritually attuned Core group has proven to be [not
intentionally] a powerful leading force, to which the
inspired Green CCs naturally defer and seek to emulate. This is
non-hierarchical leadership by example.

Atl
/ wHe as a “vehicle” for nurturing this global transformation:
These web communities
offer a unique creation with which to contribute to and to
learn from this revolutionary consciousness Movement like no other
in our entire recorded hirstory.

6. |
One
way we might ferret out more on specifically leadership:
Something I’ve long suspected – most highly
and positively motivated people, who in turn almost invariably take on
leadership roles and/or become outstanding pathfinders, do so as a
result of the kinds of experience we would call EHEs as well as
cultivated methods like Presencing. Since the majority
of people attracted to AtL / wHe would be Experiencers, surveys
and the interview process used in previous global leadership
research could
provide a fabulous cornucopia for further investigation
through this web project.

I
have not yet been able to complete an in-depth processing of Dr.
Isaacs' Dialogue,
but I have studied it and related works [Bohm, Krishnamurti] enough to
realize its similarly crucial contribution to our world and
our Humanity. I believe every one of us -- Dr. Senge, Dr.
Jaworski, Dr. Flowers, Dr. Scharmer, Dr. Isaacs*, and myself
-- holds a distinct vision and
intention toward a future that calls us into action and
relationships and a sense of protective responsibility none of us
can imagine walking away from. This
multi-web project could offer an unparalleled opportunity to unite our
efforts in new ways that can bring about a remarkable
singularity of shared purpose and vision. As mentioned
above [see #s 1 and 3], AtL / wHe offers an exciting and
promising complexity of many interwoven ideas that have evolved over the last many
years, the coalsecence of the works of numerous highly
creative, Heart-sourced and inspired people. Among
the things we all seem to have in common:

Visions
of a positive and powerful transformation aided by a
multiplicity of excellent and innovative tools and wisdoms.
-
An
awareness of an unfolding consciousness shift that
includes Humanity, Nature, and Spirit and
the desire to assist its incalculable potential
for improving our relational existence with each other
and within the Earthly web of life.
-
A passionate commitment to serve something
greater than ourselves and for the Greatest Good.
-
"Heart."
-
We
each stretch to see the most inclusive, wholeness-making
and healing Bigger Picture of this emerging future, abetted
by our most sincere and hopeful intentions and abilities
to meet and be met within this living field of co-intelligence and
possibility.

The
willingness and even felt necessity to listen within and to
trust the led process of the Intentions that call us and
their creative unfolding within our beautifully relational,
synchronous world and works here at the threshold of
nothing less than the "new community of
thought."
