Legitimizing This Work and .. 

No to 'Other Requirements' ; 

No to Glamour

 

When Humberto [Maturana]  says that  ‘Love is the only emotion that expands intelligence,’ it reminds us that legitimacy and trust are crucial for the free flow of information and for how information gets transformed into value.  We will need to use the heart more, which means the quality of our being and relationships with one another become more and more central in allowing an organization to flourish.

(STEPPING TO THE EDGE ...)  ENSURING THIS THING CAN FLY

          This work must be “legitimized” in some way that ultimately resonates from within each person without resorting to a top-down, goats-and-sheep perspective we’re so accustomed to.   This is not about my personal ‘I’ but rather about every ‘I’; this is not about any given I as 'special', but rather each and every one of us as unique and Experiential / potentially Experiential Human Beings and tuned in to same-same, the Heart that makes us ONE.  

          In other words, for starters, this work must be seen on its own merits, whether I have 0 or 100 professional degrees and licenses, whether I have accomplished certain types of recognized things or nothing, on the basis of Experiences-in-common with many others.  In short, we could say on the basis of the heart and authenticity and whatever else plugs us all into the Self we all are.  Being simple and being real [authentic] helps us avoid the shadow side that manifests the poison of that 'us vs. them' mentality -- from that Oneness connectivity, we all SEE this.  All in good fun:  it's a no-brainer! .. beyond the "brain bucket"* or pale, I mean, pail.

          I believe this is crucial to our mutual enabling that allows us to 'cross the bridge' together [wHere[the]twoworldsTouch] as naturally as the unfolding of a rose.  Other than the self/Self and the unitive relational web, each person needs to feel assured and competent in their own journey just where they are and as they are.  

 

THE SHADOW .. DOESN'T KNOW AT ALL!

          (Do you remember that spooky line from radio days, "The shadow knows!"?)  Two things that get in the way of this universally potential awakening are (1) glamour and (2) any false and unnecessary imposed "requirement" for other resources [e.g., money, the fallacious expectations and desires of others].  

 

(1)  Glamour

          Life without glamour is basically life without projections.  People do not always intend to be glamour magnets.  It must take a lot of  glamour crows [you know how much crows love shiny sparkly things!] to produce a glamour star.  I remember reading in Presence something about we need to give up our dependency on charismatics as leaders, to see leadership and decision making through achieving "a state of clarity about and connection to what is emerging, to an 'inner knowing' where, 'in a sense, there is no decision making.  What to do just becomes obvious ...'" based on, to the point, "where you are coming from and who you are as a person," suggests Brian Arthur.  This is the epitome of operating from inside the new worldview, post-consciousness shift.  

          A common type of projection that comes into play [havoc] when people glamorize someone is some twisted rendition of 'Wow, that person Up There can do that [e.g. EHE or a vision for something], but surely that means that I couldn't do or be that, or that I could be Up There!'  And that kind of thinking stops people short of realizing all they can be, even more so if it is reinforced in any way by whoever they are projecting that on.  Of course, the bigger and even more helpful challenge probably is to get this message across to everyone 'out there' about the disadvantages of all that glowy glitter!  

          I'm certainly no charismatic!  But am I ever big on mission, authenticity and 'it's all us chickadees'!  My objective is to reinforce the message in a way that inspires / frees everyone to re-member the 'Leader' within every Human heart -- the 'Self we all are'.  Even better, if we can all learn to do this with the deeply inward Presencing discernment described by Brian Arthur.  When we naturally operate out of that profoundly clear tuned-inness, exemplified also in the EHE aftereffects, WE ARE THERE, ONE.  

 

(2)  Imposed or False 'Requirements'

          Examples of such impositions are:  no one needs to look to a guru or to fork over x amount of dollars in order to get a particular technique or book or membership or certificate to "make" this very natural process unfold from within.  The EHEerly values potential comes with being human and is maturing into experience just fine as long as we don't interfere.  That's not to say certain knowledge and methods don't help, but at least people are not getting any false message, such as, they have to get something outside their own inner Selfing process for this to occur.  ..Which is another way to say everyone can trust their heart or inner knowing for guidance as to what might benefit their journey, which might take them to a guru or a book or to something internal instead, like, "Be still and know ..."

          Even exceptional experience is not a, I want to say, prerequisite.  That will come.  Even understanding is not a pre-requirement, but we all believe it helps!  Taking these aeonic cosmic tricksters out of the picture from the get-go -- glamour and the false idea of other requirements -- greatly diminishes the possibilities for people feeling any angst or fear of not having what it takes, such as being required to meet someone else's expectations for something that they may not have or be able to produce.  

          Only in this way can the natural bridge be built that becomes imagin-able and accessible to everyone.  Because only in this way, through the close-to-home examples and stories of each other and through the practices of presencing and dialoguing that seem so native to the perspective of the Heart, can we as individual, evolving beings [read that also as 'local'] see the way for our moving forward through this Shift.  

          This is how, I believe,  this Movement wakening to its own existence and Voice must happen.  That legitimacy must come from within each person as heshe's Experiencing eventually opens the door to the more unitive knowing.  Through Experience [and beyond concept], eventually all our internal compasses are recalibrated to find without fail, the true north that brings us to that oneness.  The Archimedean point is the exceptional human experience at the bottom of the U that "changes everything."  The superb simplicity of Dr. Jaworski said it best in Presence:  ".. period.  End of paragraph."  

          This conception or growing awareness must be acknowledged, accepted, received on the terms of what we most have in common, the unitive connection of our Experiences / potential Experiences and not on the basis of what sets us apart.  Concurrence spontaneously comes from Experience, which results in the essentially universal aftereffects; that is its own legitimacy in every person.  This is where we can all meet as 'I am you in another body' – across the great divide of haves/have-nots of every possible description – becoming the MORE that we potentially all are.  This is where we together discover our in-common essence of the Human distinction, our very real Oneness.  

          We need to know what brings us together, not what sets us apart -- our Oneness-Recognition IQ or something.   And there is a tenderness to this that needs to be acknowledged and protected – this green-growing edge of our blossoming Humanhood in this relatively new turn on the spiral.  This is what takes us all to the same page where we can work and be "the new world" together.  No one is better or less than, because we one-and-all come from the very same Source.  We one-and-all are playing our parts here, whatever they may be, as Human Beings.  

          The most simple person potentially can provide “the answers” to any given challenge that we face together on equal ground with someone considered by old standards to be a seasoned leader.   There's a wonderful story by Juanita Brown entitled, "The Least Qualified Among Us:  Listening for the Wisdom in the Group," about Cesar Chavez and the United Farm Workers movement from the 1960s.  A community of workers and families had been chewing on their immediate problem for hours without getting anywhere.  Cesar Chavez had asked for any and everyone to share whatever came to mind that might help, and even so, they didn't seem to be getting any closer to a plan.  As the talking was lapsing into longer disheartened  silences, finally, an old woman in the back of the crowd, wrapped in the native garb of her homeland and speaking softly in Spanish, suggested humbly, hesitantly, a truly inspired option that became the modus operandi that led to their success.  

          I am that reticent woman in another body; Rhea A. White is she, as well, no longer in a bodysuit, but in heart and in the heart of this work.  Each of you and others who have come forward to feed this FLAME of our Becoming are she, taking courage to step forward when the heart is compelled to do so.

          We are each human but we are all potentially capable of becoming the unitive consciousness / force of the MORE that is Human.  That levels the playing field so no one gets left behind for the wrong reasons [not that there are any right reasons for anyone to be left behind].  All said and done, we each choose or not to see that AtL / wHe is simply another enabling conduit that allows all of us to find each other on the same page and to consciously network for this purpose as a whole.  Any of us at any moment may be a signpost of and within this new consensus reality we are discovering and co-creating together.

          Your expression of the simple eloquence of Humberto Maturano and Greg Merton in Presence provides perhaps the most inspired guidance:
