What
Makes Ahhh-TheLight and
wHeretwoworldsTouch Unique?
wHeretwoworldsTouch*
calls
attention to and utilizes primarily
the work of Rhea A. White as the basis for presenting its ideas
and mission.
Rhea White’s work is about ‘all things EHE’,
derived from the Experiencers themselves and their Experiences
of the anomalous and exceptional variety.
She is not the first to put this in terms of an
inherently Human potential or capacity, but to my knowledge,
she is perhaps unique in the way she has created a mature,
cohesive model and comprehensive terminology with which to
conceptualize this as integral to “the human collective species consciousness.”
She communicates this within the framework of “the
new worldview,” a descriptor of her “Experiential
Paradigm” [EP]. This is a formal-sounding, eight-fork,
dressed-up-for-dinner kind of term that denotes the new consensus reality
forming in our midst, almost by definition reflected in the
EHE
Aftereffects. Out
of this, she further suggests, is to be found the “New Story
of Humankind,” as a result of our sharing our individual,
yet universal EHE stories of not only the events themselves,
but especially how they transform our lives and values and
outlook:
...
What we need is a story that will unite science and
spirituality, self and world. But first it must occur at the
individual level. ... Each of us needs a story that charges
our daily lives with meaning and puts us personally in touch
with the sacred.
Following White's lead, wHeretwoworldsTouch takes this a step or
two further by

Identifying
the broad outlines of this "Consciousness
Shift Movement"
-
Providing
a nurturing and supportive environment of several
communities in which this population may come together,
discover its unitive sense of identity and purpose,
thrive, and self-organize, and together make "The
Difference" in the world.
In other words, much as White made available a safe,
nonideaological space for EHEers to find greater direction and
meaning and purpose in their lives as a result of studying their
Experiences, wHeretwoworldsTouch is being established of and for
and by the people of this grassroots Movement within which to
realize their commonality through their EHE-impacted /
influenced lives. Further, it will provide a matrix of
operation through which this vast global population may begin to
network and purposefully align with each other based on their
shared new-consensus worldview and values, largely the result of
or in some way directly or indirectly associated with these
Experiences.
This exquisitely diverse group of individuals will naturally
recognize that which unifies them and is the same as that which
fills their individual lives with meaning and purpose,
highlighted in White's work and in the
EHE Aftereffects.
Here, together, they can work with the EHE process in concert
with each other to better bring to fruition the inestimable
potential in these experiential Gifts. Through these
unifying principles profiled in the EHE Aftereffects, they will
be able to come together with passion and compassion and
singular purpose to become, as one, a far more effective
instrument for supporting global sustainability and quality of
life for everyone.
I am not aware of any other organization or plan to accomplish
this. In effect, wHeretwoworldsTouch
is to the grassroots population of this Consciousness Shift
Movement what Rhea White has been to EHEers and their
Experiences in relation to her Experiential Paradigm.
Even Dr. White* has said,
The time has come for the exceptional human experiencers of
the world to unite.
They have
nothing to lose but their stigma. Exceptional
indicates they are already privileged. While others are
seeking the pot at the end of the rainbow, they are
already in the rainbow.
... [Previously, she had said,] In the postmodern view,
everyone is in process, whether one knows it or not, but it is
best to know it. We are not here primarily to find
contentment but to connect with what William James referred to
as the "more" in human experience, to become
connected to the
more that we are.
[What greater privilege can be found on this Earth than
this?]
Some
may wonder with all that's available now about this consciousness shift if
others are not already doing something like this.
Today, there is an extensive network of organizations that study and
inform and support the idea of this Movement in principle if not exactly
in these terms. Thus far, much of this interest is concentrated on
scholarly pursuits and particular theories or schools of thought or on
certain kinds of experiences such as near-death experiences [e.g., the
International Association of Near Death Studies / IANDS] or mystical
experiences [the Religious Experience Research Centre / RERC], or just in
a very different venue, such as a particular spiritual perspective. Dr. White, who sometimes was herself involved in
this type of research, compares a number of such institutions to show how
her EHE Network was itself unique. She mentions two outstanding
examples with whom she had occasionally collaborated, the Institute of
Noetic Sciences [IONS] and the International Transpersonal Association [ITA]:
[IONS and the ITA] study the major types of mystical and transcendent experiences, including their transformative aspects, but their findings are usually related to traditional world religions or to shamanism or to various schools of psychotherapy or psychology.
Usually the form of traditional wisdom or scholarly discipline or psychological approach is the primary subject and experiences are used primarily as examples or illustrations.
The ideas or theories set forth are the main aim.
All to say, wHeretwoworldsTouch has a unique role to play in its
elaborate support of the Consciousness Shift Movement. It
offers neutral ground that is not bound by any ideology or
theory [not sourced in the Experiences and Experiencers
themselves]. It has no specific spiritual / religious or
political ties, although most EHEers share a profoundly
spiritual outlook, and through this avenue of expression, they
will no doubt make waves as an activist organization that is
global in its scope and intentions.
