specifically of the LAL
I feel strongly we need to put in place from the beginning a form of
feedback that allows anyone to review products and services that show up
on the LAL. There will also be either staff or volunteers who
might do 'formal reviews' for educational and actual critiquing
purposes. This is exactly what's in play on amazon.com. We
would always reserve the right to pull literally any material, reviews
or otherwise, that we do not feel is appropriate or that is in any way
malicious, demeaning or derisive. I can imagine, however, there
could be the possibility of products and services that we do not after
all want on our sites, which may be learned through what comes up in the
reviews, and we will have our own research team to keep a close watch on
this in either case.
