The capacity to discover and participate in our unfolding future has more to do with our being -- our total orientation of character and consciousness -- than with what we do ... a domain in which we and those around us continually deepen our understanding of reality and are able to participate in shaping the future. ... collectively 'listening' to what is wanting to emerge in the world, and then having the courage to do what is required.

~~Joseph Jaworski.  [He is talking about specifically leadership as said domain, but I would like to apply this to any and all who gather together for a purpose with this kind of willing purposefulness to be guided from within.  In:  Synchronicity:  The Inner Path of Leadership]

Partnership, Funding & Collaboration

Two Possible Funding Options

[Examples / Ideas]

However this manifests, I need first and foremost a financial adviser and manager who also oversees all the accounting and legal concerns.  I want to be continually apprised of all details of this, but I do not want to do this myself.  As big as this project is, it would require someone probably on a full-time basis.  Heshe would

  •

help me set up a projected budgeting plan based on priorities and on regular and irregular funding needs

  •

keep me informed on legal aspects as well, such as, re:  all taxes and business and legal fees

  •

provide a regular accounting of our financial activities

  •

work with me as a co-researcher and adviser in terms of making sure we are getting the best resources / making the best choices in terms of how the building and maintenance of the project develops

  •

eventually oversee the daily [etc.] accountability of all financial and legal aspects of each subweb, once it becomes fully operational.  Must take into consideration that this is dependent on how any further partnering relationships may be set up ..

Plan A

Carte blanche full go-ahead and financial means to hire the staff needed and get this done in a comprehensive and efficient way.  With the initial few on board -- perhaps it could be a Board! -- we will go through this with careful deliberation to come up with a detailed plan of development for the site, mapped out over time.

Imagine a tract that would go something like this:  approximately every two months a completed new subweb goes up with a lot of savvy PR and marketing expertise to give it the best possible launch.   Simultaneously, we would have translators and administrators and IT people producing this in at least several other key languages, thinking particularly of targeted cultures or countries within which also to seed this work.

          Suggested options:

If it is important the project fairly immediately start bringing in its own income, I'd recommend starting with the Larger Life Reality Portal ...  then Living the Awakened Life.   If this is not an immediate concern, I would recommend starting with the Physical Death and Dying Portal, because it meets so many people in one of the likeliest places where they feel the need to look for deeper answers to life.  It offers a natural sense of progression from those needs all the way to what spiritually transformative experiences are, their healing, even awakening influence, what they portend, why we would want to imagine cultivating an "EHEerly life" based on their transformative potential, and finally the reality of this Movement itself.

The personnel will be hired or contracted as the need arises.  In other words, this will grow organically, not just 'instantly' hire all these people and hurry up and wait for things to develop.

Any time projections and numbers of people suggested on this page and at present are purely arbitrary.  Because of the complexity of each subweb and the project as a whole, I expect it will take a considerable number of folks, and that will be an organic development, based on the resources we will have to make this happen.  With that in mind, here are the teams I envision and roughly the order "on paper" I see this unfolding:

.

Teams

How Many People

Notes

  1.

Orientation / Training

[RR]

Initially, I will do all the training / orientation and probably most or all the hiring, or at least would be involved in the final decision-making.  I will gradually relinquish this task as the collective culture becomes firmly established.

  2.

IT / Web-building and Maintenance

15

There is an infrastructure, mostly built for wHe.  The first decision we must make is whether to continue with this or build from scratch.

  3.

Managerial and Administrative; money management, legal services, accounting, Human Resources

25+

Management not only of the .com sites, but also the to-be .org sites.  Includes heavy data entry and online research to find and convert raw data for a number of databases

  4.

Marketing and PR

10

For the webs and for the EHE Study Groups, on- and offline

  5.

PDD Subweb Staff -- Education / information; support groups; online memorials, obits online; suicide crisis prevention

25

Much to set up in terms of various types of resources and information / education, which will then largely take care of itself.  A number of group-support modalities that will require vigilant care, due to the fragile nature of many people who will be drawn here.  Will require being more immediately present to clients; may require some counseling staff and monitors for some of support group options.

  6.

LLR Subweb Staff, including Personal Pages membership

15

One of its biggest tasks will be to set up and maintain the books/media sales through amazon.com and other options.

  7.

LAL Subweb Staff -- could be divided into a number of interests:

  • Activism

  • Social Investing

  • Alt. Health

  • LAL Lifestyle

  • Green Jobs

  • Networking! -- the Movement itself

25+

Lots of interface with global community; writing articles, columns, doing surveys, its own magazine that could be as rich as anything on the market.  Lots of 2-way feedback and correspondence.  At least one major membership, re:  social investing.  And:  all the activist aspects to be set up and maintained.  Wonder what we might do with Green Jobs as a major networking agency?

  8.

LAL Co-op Staff -- There will be members and nonmembers, which may be handled separately for accounting purposes.

25

Huge database setup, maintenance; many/most of these affiliate-type program relationships.  We will have our 'good housekeeping' aspects to establish and run.  This has a major membership to oversee.

  9.

ESC Subweb Staff -- this may be facilitated tremendously by the enthusiastic volunteerism of the clients themselves.  Could be intensely active!

25

Major membership web.  Hopefully staffed from get-go by people who will themselves benefit by their involvement here.  Facilitator-people who find ways to optimize a flow for all that highly creative and sensitive energetic that will come with this population.

10.

DTCII Subweb Staff -- with its own library and conferences; also to do its own research and writing / presenting / publishing.  May need its own publishing arm.

25

Requires setting up a whole research organization.  Same types of needs, but different science.  This is a major membership web that will have its own journal and conferences.  Also requires a major networking maven.

11.

Staff for the ESC Study Groups Online -- For online and offline, I want to study IANDS and the Edgar Cayce study groups -- others?  And see how best to build this.  Or maybe we will hire a few seasoned players within this type of arena who will just take this and go!

5+

Development and maintenance of a "loose" enrichment program that gives much room for highly creative input and direction to the members themselves.  Something on the order of Yahoo group structures, but they will be somewhat reliant on us for materials and feedback.  Will have, in conjunction with the offline membership population, its own conferences and magazine or journal.

12.

Staff for the ESC Study Groups Offline

5+

See online version of this.  This will be a paying membership, per group.  We will provide educational materials and all else that is to be expected of this kind of highly interactive interest.  We may provide speakers and "coaches" for this.

13.

Multimedia and multi-technology-

based development and publishing [videos, RSS, our own books, CDs, even movies ... ]

25

This is for the entire multi-community complex -- many opportunities for such initiatives on nearly all of the subwebs, as well as developing materials for the ESC Study Groups

14.

Events online and offline

10

Regular and special programs, conferences -- ours as well as keeping on top of ones we should attend

15.

Translators and all other staff necessary to bring this to people who do not speak English -- also sensitively assimilated to meet other-cultural understandings with more than merely tact; with gentle grace and love and in a way that awakens the joy of  recognition, and participation.

60+

This may turn into much more than merely translating!  But for a start we need a way to adapt our services through translators and such options as are available for this online.  But in the long run we need reliable translators and whoever else may be required to ensure this flows  smoothly and seamlessly with the English rendition.  We really do want to nurture a very powerfully connected, global presence as a Movement!

   .

TOTAL:

296+

Most will be hired, trained, fully engaged within the first year.

In the case of each segment of the project, usually defined by a subweb, the funding person/s or organization, the financial adviser, I, any partners or other major players involved in its development and future functioning, and any specialized advisory persons [including for marketing/PR] we may need for each part would meet to map out that piece of the work.  It would have its own developmental integrity and  timeline within the larger schema.

As it evolves, there will come into play overlapping stages of the various subwebs [in development, pre-launch/PR, launch, fully in operation, and including a regular status meeting of key people for each sub-site, once operational].

When the first segment is fully launched on the internet, there will be then concurrent ongoing scenarios to watch and work with in regards to all the subwebs, such as the building of one segment along with ongoing maintenance of previously launched subwebs.  In each case there will have to be partners / staff in position to manage these individual subwebs [including hiring, training, etc., during pre-launch time].

As an example, by months 9-10, the development activities might look like this:

Plan B

Plan B suggests a scenario based on the assistance I feel is most needed to do this on a minimalistic basis over time, though with the same intended outcome of completing the whole design as planned.  We could start with the following needs and expand as the development requires it :

  • The financial manager/adviser mentioned above

  • Totally at my disposal, a top-notch web designer/webmaster and all the requisite software, etc. to continue building and to maintain the sites as planned.

  • PR/marketing expertise

  • 1-3 copy editors [contract basis until we are successful enough to employ editors]

  • 2 data entry assistants [contract basis, same as above]

  • The means to search for / hire partners and staff as needed, based on the ability to pay our way through our own success

Using this approach, we would concentrate on one subweb at a time, hire or recruit and train the necessary staff.  This scenario would be particularly useful if we are looking for partners to buy into each subweb.

Under these conditions, I would recommend starting with the LLR, then LAL, followed by the PDD, ESC, and DTCII, in this order.  The first two will provide a focal point that will be the most immediately likely to pull in public funding and support.  The PDD needs to be implemented early rather than later into the overall development plans.  The ESC and DTCII are both membership subwebs, which should be financially strengthening almost from their  beginning, but they require the informational and educational backbone of the LLR and LAL to set up the proper context for making them understandable and naturally sought after.

The decision for when to begin each succeeding subweb can be contingent upon any number of variables [completion of previous subweb, amount of funding being pulled in by the previous subweb/s; partnering agreements for each subweb as that naturally unfolds, if it is to evolve with individual partners, etc.]
