aspires to be a torchbearer, a call to Community, an impetus toward a
collective, consciously chosen destiny, in fact a Movement that without doubt has the
capability to heal, make whole, uplift, and transform our world and
everything in it – including our understanding of what it means to be Human.
We need to discover together our unified Voice, the authentic voice of
and for and by concerned and committed human beings from all over the
world who recognize themselves as participants in this Consciousness
Shift -- this Consciousness rEvolution -- that has been emerging these
last several decades. Ahhh-theLight [and hopefully soon,
along with wHeretwoworldsTouch.com]
provides a focal point where those who recognize themselves in the
mirror it represents can give voice to their own exceptional
experiences and the transformative meaning and purpose they
have discovered as a result that has made 'all the difference' in their
lives. By making avenues available for this to become a unified,
global Conversation and a recognized Movement, we become
even more powerful change agents together. We
become a Unified Voice for great healing and wholeness-making that
benefits our entire world and humanity. Our evolutionary
trajectory at this time appears to be this collective awakening
into a far
more expansive and experiential realization of what it means to be Human.
Ever-increasing numbers of us are discovering this very fact through
these Experiences.
Thus far, as
Claire Blatchford,
a contemporary mystic, says, "This [has
been] largely a silent, hidden, unacknowledged revolution.
You would not necessarily know it from what you read in the newspapers
or see on the nightly news. Yet there are signs everywhere. ... "
She also noticed something very similar to what PMH Atwater [NDEr]
recalls from the first conferences of the International Association of
Near Death Studies [IANDS], a support organization for near-death
experiencers:
Throughout my own search I could not help but notice how
similar
many survivors became after their experience was over: and
that struck me, for, at first, I could not figure out
why. Why are we so much alike? Why are we now able to
communicate, understand, and know each other so easily --
sometimes without saying a word? How can this be?
... The only common denominator any of us shared was one moment
in time when our lives had stopped and we had ceased
breathing. We had come to "know" death and, in
so doing, we had come to "know" each other as if we
were all members of the same family connected by the same
pulse-beat -- what happens to one somehow affects
all.
We together comprise an unprecedented
groundswell of Human and planetary transformation. We, this
grassroots Humanity of the world, have, in this last and by far most destructive century
in recorded hirstory,
voiced a sustained communal
outpouring for help -- a "cry of the heart to G*D that brings down blessings from that high source."
And we have
been heard. And we are being answered! And that answer is
being born in the sanctity of the Heart -- one person and one
Experience at a time.
As we gain courage and confidence to
share our EHE stories and the revelatory insights we are receiving
from them, we are realizing we share essentially a universal
understanding and connectivity, and in fact, in
the process we are together coming to live out of a
New Consensus Reality, exemplified in
the
aftereffects of Exceptional Human Experience.
Here is where we are finding our Community, our singular Voice and Movement that have been blossoming into our mutual
awareness.
We are awakening to that Self we all are!
The
Basis for This Mission
One by one, Experience by Experience, we are crossing an
evolutionary threshold into a whole new state of consciousness and
conscious abilities, as a species. Rhea A. White offers up a
revelatory take on this: "EHEs
serve as a means of moving the experiencer away from a more or less
exclusive identification with a self bounded by ... what Alan Watts called
"the skin-encapsulated ego" ... to an awareness of a Self that is
All Things, or what I call the All-Self. Exceptional human
experiences indicate that there may be a continuum of consciousness
between these two extremes of identity, and their import often is to
move us toward firsthand experience of the All-Self."*
Through
modern-day mystic, David
Spangler, we get, "The
Choice is not between forms but between consciousnesses."
This is
reiterated through John White's Homo Noeticus
theory, which also
recaps what Rhea White [no relation to John White] says about EHEs
opening us to direct experience of what she calls the All-Self.
John White, cofounder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences and also an
EHEer, defines Homo
Noeticus in an
interview as
a "higher form of humanity emerging on the planet now, characterized not by
genetic changes but by noetic changes. In other words, consciousness
is the guiding principle by which to define Homo noeticus.
There's a radical transformation of consciousness that characterizes Homo
noeticus, a movement from self-centeredness to God-centeredness."
One more point, is that all you find on these two webs speaks to what
I believe is the ultimate concern [our collective "cry of the
heart to G*D ..."] and ultimate answer [The Answer] of our
time. Craig Hamilton, the interviewer for What
Is Enlightenment? Magazine [re: John
White interview cited above], articulates this well: "Many leading
thinkers have suggested that given the enormity of the challenges we are
facing, the only solution that could hope to get to the root of the
problem is a spiritual solution—a transformation of consciousness.
What do you think about this idea? Can enlightenment save the world?"
And John White's reply? "Enlightenment is the
only thing which can save
the world. The only thing."
Rhea
White's answer to this is what I call "all
things EHE." John White's Homo
Noeticus exemplifies the evolutionary leap that can be seen as the
result of the transitioning development through growing numbers of
people having and taking to heart these Experiences and bringing their gifts
actively into their lives and the world.
Not
everyone knows that the multi-genius seer Rudolf Steiner, was
foretelling this specially transformative time in detail a century
ago. He describes this Shift "and the depths of which can
only be unveiled in the twentieth century, when instead of science,
spiritual knowledge ... comes into play. ...[A] door has opened through which understanding can come to us."
A door has
opened, indeed!
Through
the Open Door ..
This Consciousness
rEvolution is reflected in the worldwide, increasing numbers
of people who are having these kinds of experiences variously
described as everything from anomalous and "weird" to
paranormal, from hallucinatory to spiritual, from psychic and dejá vu
to death-related. The more
profoundly affecting they are, the more we hear people describe them as
‘realer than real’ and ‘the most important thing that ever
happened to me.’ From that
deeper range of the spectrum, Anya
Foos-Graber, a near-death experiencer, speaks of them as
“inoculations of immortality.”
There is much corroborative data to suggest that the
growing numbers of people who have had such experiences across the globe
can be counted in the hundreds of millions, perhaps even in the
billions.
Even so, Experiencers and EHE Empaths
have yet to
discover their own singular Voice.
I believe their becoming identified, their identifying
themselves as a group, a Community, and finally as a global Movement –
their coming together and organizing with clearly unified intent, above
all differences -- people everywhere for the sake of the Earth and our Humanity –- will
galvanize and reorient the vast majority of us toward accepting the reality, potential, and significance of this consciousness
Shift, and eventually, inevitably, they too will know firsthand this
new consensus reality. This
Movement would become, during this critical Turning Point in Time, the
tipping point that will finally, finally shift things in the
direction of our bringing into predominance what William James and
Rhea White referred to as the
MORE that it means to be Human.
What would that look like, feel like? We could envision together the emergence of this unifying presence, this Awakening Voice,
such as coming together through these websites, through EHE Study
Groups, through conferences and celebrations, and in our ever more
organized / synchronized activism, etc., propelling a world-rousing wave of mutual recognition and resounding
support among EHEers
and EHE Empaths
from all over the world. It would
also mean that people who have had such experiences but do not know how to value them
will gain direction and personal validation that will further feed the
momentum, the flame of this Movement's inner-led agenda and success.
Such a Movement would have the capacity to bring us together as
ONE through our hearts, in spite of all our remarkable individuating
differences. And we will stand together, reach out to and be there
for each other, respect and honor and love and care for each other in
friendship, Listen to and with each other until we realize our kinship,
discover and celebrate our commonality [and our differences], lock arms, and
move purposefully together toward the carefully co-created world we want
to experience together now, awarely, and in the fullness of LIGHT that we all
are, until, as Rhea White puts it, "we shall travail no more."
Mellen Thomas Benedict suggests this very thing in the recounting
of his
EHE story.
There came a moment when he made what he called a
decent into hell. He could
see everyone had this tiny, visible light with them, a little star, but they did not seem
to notice. He eventually
started crying out for help and in his words, “Then the Light opened
up and formed a tunnel that came right to me and insulated me from all
that fear and pain. That is what Hell really is. So what we are doing is
learning to hold hands, to come together. The doors of Hell are open
now. We are going to link up, hold hands, and walk out of Hell
together.“
The
Mission, Bottom Line
I find myself again and again coming back to the idea
stated above and that so
many Experiencers remark: If
there is one thing that can save our planet and ourselves from our
not-knowing and destructiveness, it is these Experiences and the people
who are gifted with them, as well as the intuitive trust and support of
EHE Empaths. There
is so much potential and promise we cannot begin to guess within every
one of us, and when we come together to work toward the same purpose, it
is magnified exponentially for each new person that comes forward to
help. To you and to me as
well, I repeat my essential challenge from other pages, which defines
most simply the mission of these two web projects:

There is a globally significant spiritual meaning and
purpose implicit in this work as broad and deep as the promise
of human evolution -- and as urgent as the hope of planetary
survival. The underlying question that drives this "Project
of Transcendence,"
ultimately belonging to all of us as one evolving Human
Family, is this:

What could the unified consciousness, astounding creativity and
brilliance, and purposeful commitment of hundreds of millions of
compassionately motivated, Aware people from all over the world,
who have these
aftereffect characteristics
in common, do together with well-organized, unifying, Spirit-led
intentionality? Exactly this is what Ahhh-TheLight!
and wHeretwoworldsTouch have been created to
nurture and help facilitate.

FYI, so this doesn't get misconstrued: This is definitely not
about 'getting rid of the ego'. White goes on to say, "...
Both senses of self are needed, but exclusive identification with one or
the other diminishes one's quality of life. Ideally, one should be
aware of both and not exclusively identified with either. Perhaps
because Western civilization is based almost entirely on the conception
of the separate skin-encapsulated ego-self, we in the West have lost our
awareness of and become dissociated from the All-Self, except for
special moments. These "special moments" are exceptional
experiences; through cultivating them, we can once more achieve the
frequent or even constant awareness of the All-Self to complement the
