Increasing Visitations by the Christ in the 20th Century  Foreseen by Rudolf Steiner

The following quote comes from Western Esoteric Masters Series:  Rudolph Steiner by Richard Seddon.             I was reading the book referenced above and came across the following comment and couldn't help but think of this mother and little girl who was without doubt miraculously cured of her leukemia during a crisis when it was looking like she was not going to make it.             In 1911, Rudolf Steiner said, "[P]eople will be able to receive and comprehend that which begins in the twentieth century:  This is the etheric Christ, in contrast to the physical Christ of Palestine.  For we have reached the point of time when the etheric Christ enters the life of the Earth, and will become visible, at first to a few people, through a kind of natural clairvoyance.  Then in the course of the next three thousand years He will become visible to ever more people.  This must come to pass; it is a natural event.  That it will happen is just as certain as that the achievements of electricity have happened in the nineteenth century. .... In a few decades it will happen to certain people, especially the young -- for it is already in preparation -- that someone arrives in a place and experiences certain things.  Then if he has really sharpened his vision ... he will notice that suddenly someone is beside him, Who comes to help him, to draw his attention to this or that:  that Christ approaches him, but he thinks a physical man is there.  Then he will notice it is a supersensible Being, Who suddenly disappears.  Many a one will experience, when sitting silent in his room, his heart sad and oppressed, not knowing which way to turn, that the door will open:  the etheric Christ will appear and speak comforting words to him.  Christ will become a living comforter to men.  However [strange] it may seem today, yet it is true that many a time, when people are sitting together not knowing what to do, and also when a greater number of people are waiting expectantly, they will then behold the etheric Christ.  He will Himself be there, and will confer with them, will contribute His voice to such gatherings.  These times are now approaching.  This is something which as a positive constructive element is entering human evolution.. .           Other contemporaries who have described seeing or experiencing a Light Being they felt or knew was the Christ:     Claire Blatchford  [also see her book title] David Spangler  George Ritchie Rudolf Steiner Tiffany Snow       Back to the story of "Alice" and her daughter Back to The Breadcrumb Trail ... .   .
