Monthly Global "Projects of Transcendence"
The idea is to focus our collective intentions toward a certain
challenge in the world, such as a famine, a war, a natural
disaster, or something the vast majority agree we want to see
changed in a particular way. We
would have a list to which viewers or any of us could add
suggestions and all of us can vote for on some kind of regular
basis. Because events
affecting large numbers of people come up spontaneously on a
daily basis, this would be an ongoing list. The list would
be comprised of challenges for which we can fairly universally
agree as to the outcome we would choose to intend
together. At a given time each month, the one with the highest
votes will be the focus for the group event the next day.
It might alternatively be randomly selected in some
fashion. [[We would also encourage actual local or interest groups to
make time for their own special interests / needs that might
never otherwise achieve global attention enough to become
primary focuses, and of course to bring the same group spirit to
bear in the process.]]
Lynne McTaggart
[see her exciting book, The
Intention Experiment: Using Your Thoughts to Change Your Life
and the World] is conducting an extraordinary
experiment along these same lines! Interestingly, she also
[like me] is not a scientist, but even so, she has managed to
bring together a world-class support network of scientists and
readers of her very popular books [e.g., The Field ; The
Intention Experiment] together to do pretty much the idea of
using huge groups of people in intention experiments to make a
positive difference in the world -- and they are really doing
it! [Here's the website where you can learn more about
this and sign up to participate: http://www.thepeaceintentionexperiment.com/about.htm
]
Across all possible scenarios for our collaborations on- and
off-line, we would have these two things in common: the given
[global] concern we have decided on and the spirit in which we
meet together. Since the vast majority of people who would
be attracted to this type of work together would likely share at
the very least a strong empathy for -- and on the more positive
side, largely, the lived characteristics of -- the EHE
Aftereffects, this would also mean we would find it
fairly easy to agree upon broad-based intentions, much like
McTaggart seems to be working with. For e xample, I signed
up with the Peace Intention Experiment on 9/14/08. On that
day, the focus of the intention was the horrendous civil war
that had been going on in Sri Lanka since 1983. The
collective intention was [I don't have the exact wording, but
..] that we focus on at least a 10% improvement to the strife,
toward Peace. I glanced at the forums that people are
encouraged to visit after this particular event and noticed
others found the "10%" part as limiting as I did, and
some did the same thing I found myself doing -- projecting the
intention of PEACE for that country and that situation. In
any case this is exactly the spirit and level of experimentation
and work together I see happening utilizing a bit of a different
scenario, but ultimately, toward the same type of collective
intentionality. It would also necessarily be set up in
such a way that it can become a powerful tool not only for the
outcomes we want to achieve together, but also for valuable
research into the nature of how this may work, so that we can
continually hone and improve and increase our chances for
success and for a much improved world situation.
In this work, we are reaching together to be present to and with each other,
inclusive of nature and the spirit worlds, with a spirit of
healing and loving intentionality, based on something like
"I am you / you are I in another body." We truly
recognize 'self and other' as one conscious being. We are finding co-creative
and mutually respectful ways to bring together our collective
sense of purpose and loving attention to transform our world
through our powerful communal connectivity, we could say, in
three seemingly distinct "worlds" -- really, they are
ONE:
-
Our
shared Human Consciousness
-
Nature
or the Natural World [including Gaia Consciousness]
-
The
all-pervading Meta-Consciousness that both inhabits and
transcends what most people think of as the physical
consensus reality
Options
for Purposeful Convergence
Optionally meet online, such as conferencing these
events, or it could be a LIVE radio broadcast to which people
could call in, using free phone numbers or even send input using
the computer itself that could be monitored during the
program. It could be that there are programmers on the set
who actually create some part of the live dialogue online that
people could instantly respond to, such as, mirroring back out
into the 'ethers' what is being said aloud in a way that could
get instantand simultaneous feedback from listeners all over the
world, who otherwise may not be
able to participate actively, such as calling in. We can
do this individually, of course, but I hope we can establish EHE Study
Groups [off and on the World Wide Web] that would find this a special
opportunity for meeting at least once a month in order to work with
this in part to cultivate their own group energies.
Important
Ideas and Methods
There are a number of methodologies and understandings that will be
essential to start us off on the same foot, so-to-speak, to nurture
our collaborations together. These crucial skills and concepts
will be key to the development of our greater Human capacities and
communal skills and Art. A few of the most essential to be
incorporated into our toolery are these:
We would have some way to make an accounting of the outcomes
from all over the world, each month. I believe over
time we will have some truly amazing adventures together as
collaborators and co-creators that can make an otherwise incomparable
difference to our world.
