Who Is Rachael Rocamora?

Like so many people in this age, I have had a few compacted "lives" in this one, including a number of years in spiritual communities, a college degree at UNC-Greensboro, and a decade as a biofeedback therapist. But the life that is most relevant here began in 1985 with the unexpected physical demise of my then 21-year-old brother and his best friend, which initiated a journey [some highlights of which are to be found on the Breadcrumb Trail] to come to terms with death and dying, or that's the way I saw it then. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, the inimitable psychiatrist and thanatologist who worked with dying children and their families, used to say she wanted to be remembered not as the 'death and dying lady' but the 'life and living lady.' Through these years since, I have acquired a similar appreciation for the yin and yang of these archetypal aspects to .. Life-Writ-Large.
Around 1993-4, while researching how I might mold all I had been learning in the last many years into something on the order of one convenient whole, and so, more easily accessible to others, two things of significance happened. The Internet was officially born and I met Rhea A. White, who became a key mentoring influence in regards to this by-now vocation that owned me, heart and soul.
White had been working longer and deeper with the same complexity of interests since a near-death experience in 1952. One result is she had already created a most exceptional framework that embraced all this, which she eventually termed the Experiential Paradigm, "a [new] worldview .. based not on physical data and logic but on the sum total of one's EHEs" or "exceptional human experiences." Thanks to this superlative accomplishment, a kind of inspired work she calls a "project of transcendence," one of its many gifts was the small but happy miracle that I got to skip a would-have-been decade of living out the done-to-death story of reinventing the wheel.  And probably not with anything close to the finesse and genius of this highly accomplished woman!
Since the internet had just shown up conveniently at that moment, I thought I was going to be able to skip writing books, too, which never seemed a good fit for all I had been learning and hoped to share with others in some useful way. In the process this decade-plus since, because of how things organizationally developed, I have only just come to realize that simply by virtue of the day-by-day development over this length of time, several complete or close-to-finished manuscripts are sitting on the 'virtual shelves' practically ready for a final edit -- I hope. Now if I would just stop long enough with this web preoccupation to write a few publishers, waiting in the wings is this other little life to experience.
The short-short story of all this is, over time the original quest for understanding shifted to a tireless passion for what has become this can't-not-do-it work, thus far culminating in Ahhh-TheLight.com and wHeretwoworldsTouch.com. And that basically brings us to the present moment, as this adventure continues, with growing hope, even excitement for this weary world, in the face of this wondrous revolutionary consciousness Movement that is surfacing into our awareness now.

By the way, here are a few Experiences that have fed the flame of my passion for this work. The experiences probably mean nothing to anyone else. My point is to say I have for years felt guided and deeply confident in its development and value. I believe others will feel in their own way similarly inspired by a calling to this as well.
